Waterbased Underbody Coating

ARDINA Underbody Coating Waterbased is a high quality acrylic waterborne sealant for protecting car bodies from all kinds of possible debris, dirt and stones that might damage the panels when it comes into contact with each other. Also protects against rust and makes your car less noisy inside by soundproofing.

Usage

Always wear protective equipment when using this product. Use in a well ventilated location. Clean to be treated surface with a cloth and a degreaser. Shake well before using the coating. Apply the coating with either a pressure gun or a brush. Can be applied with or without adding additional water, to either acquire a  rough surface or a smooth surface when water is added. If a smooth surface is required, add between 15-30% water to the coating before applying. After applying the coating, clean your equipment with sufficient water.

Direction

Apply without water for rough surface:

1. Shake well before use (2-3 minutes)
2. In case of application gun 4mm, use between 5-6 bar (73-87 psi) of pressure
3. Drying time +/- 24 hours in 20ºC (68ºF) or 30 minutes in 60ºC (140ºF)

Apply with 15%-30% water for smooth surface:

1. Shake well before use (2-3 minutes)
2. In case of using HVLP Spray Gun 1.7mm, use 2 bar (29 psi) of inlet pressure
3. Drying time +/- 26 hours in 20ºC (68ºF) or 30 minutes in 60ºC (140ºF)
4. Finish sanding the treated parts with P400-P800 sandpaper if required

Storage

Store in a cool place at between 5ºC to 25ºC (41ºF to 77ºF) and use the product within 12 months for ultimate results. Shelf life between 12 to 18 months in unused original packaging if stored correctly.
